iOptron calls it “level and go”, the term used to describe the easy installation of the iOptron AZ Pro mount. Using the built-in level indicator, the user simply levels the mount. As soon as the mount is turned on, the mount takes over.

Using the built-in 32-channel GPS receiver and built-in position and angle detection sensors; the AZ mount Pro calculates both its global position and the orientation of the telescope. The mount automatically pivots the instrument to an easily recognizable bright object in the night sky. The user only needs to confirm that a bright object is in the center of the image to activate tracking and GOTO functionality.

The new LiteRoc tripod results in a lighter tripod with stability comparable to the old 2-inch tripod. It also has improved leg cuffs and sockets for increased rigidity and redesigned leg locking levers that secure the extension position.
