The William Optics DSD 210 Dovetail Gold Vixen Style is CNC machined and finished by an anodized process, protecting the aluminum. Anodizing creates a layer that is built up from the existing aluminum. This ensures a stronger and more durable product.
As you would expect from William Optics, this product looks slick again, but also well thought out. With on the one hand Vixen style format, which is generally a standard format in the telescope world, and on the other hand Arca/Swiss format which is a fairly common format in the photography world.
